Todd Tamura has been an air pollution consultant since 1993 and founded Tamura Environmental in 2005. The company has built up a diversified experience base that incorporates domestic air pollution/GHG policy frameworks for a variety of industrial source types, a wide range of scientific and technical issues associated with that framework, and an understanding of policy implementation and the perspectives of the various people involved with it. Todd has served on the Executive Boards of the Golden West and New England Sections of the Air & Waste Management Association; been a peer reviewer for Atmospheric Environment, Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association, the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies (Air Quality Committee), and US EPA; and is also a member of ASTM and API’s Committee on Evaporative Loss Estimation. He has served as a Sonoma County Planning Commissioner since 2016. His educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College, an MS in Chemistry from UCLA, and an MS in Technology and Policy from MIT.
